She whispered just loud enough for only the two of them to hear, “Someone was all proud about receiving flowers earlier. But when they heard a bunch of people sent you flowers, and that my brother-in-law gave you shares, they suddenly went silent.” Vesta heard this and gave Charlene a brief look before saying nothing.

Leah continued, “Sis, didn’t you say Stewart was really good to her? But today’s Valentine’s Day, and all he gave her was a single bouquet with nothing else. Doesn’t seem like he’s all that great to her after all.” Vesta raised an eyebrow.

On Valentine’s Day, Stewart only gave Charlene a bouquet? That seems pretty half-hearted.

Before, she genuinely thought Stewart treated Charlene well. After all, Charlene had significant influence at PrimeStar.

After exchanging pleasantries, they were about to head upstairs when someone emerged from another car, calling out, “Leaving already? Not gonna wait for me?” Charlene turned around and was momentarily stunned to see the newcomer.

“Everyone’s here, huh.” Another familiar face from the news emerged from a different car and approaches them.
