Natalya didn’t want to be belittled by someone she thought as her life and her future, but more than that, she didn’t want to disappoint him, neither did she want to witness his sigh that almost looked like he was getting tired of her.

Davis didn’t understand what kind of thoughts in her head led her to cry, and he felt that women were incomprehensible sometimes. He didn’t think his typical sigh would harm her, and it usually wouldn’t, but combined with the fact that he had educated her, made it seem like he was tired of her.

“You’re lying…” Tears almost fell out of Natalya’s eyes.

Natalya became taken aback.

Natalya’s brain trembled from this feeling of being useless and ignorant.
She instantly grabbed his shoulders as her moist eyes became teary as her tears fell, “I swear I will learn about many things and become useful to you…”
“That’s why… That’s why…” She sniffled as her voice quivered, “Please don’t sigh as if you’re tired of me…”
Davis’s heart trembled.
He finally understood what made her feel like this… Really, if Evelynn, Natalya, and Princess Isabella became tired of him for one day, then even he would be feeling down for that entire day. He felt what he subconsciously did was irresponsible.

Davis knew that he couldn’t easily get rid of his ’sighing’ disease, but he etched it in his mind to get rid of it as much as possible.
Princess Isabella had once indirectly pointed out that he was too protective of them and didn’t let them grow up. This also made him somewhat realize that he lacked consideration for their mental well-being.

Natalya’s eyes shook as she heard those words that she didn’t hear at all in the past. Tears fell out of her eyes like raindrops as she stared at him with a quivering yet content smile.
“You finally said it…”
She was unable to control her tears from falling down her cheeks.
“I made you wait…” Davis awkwardly replied.
Indeed, he realized that he never said those words ’I love you’ before to her, even after he married her. Perhaps, he wanted to be true to himself, so he never said that to her until he really thought that way. He didn’t know when he came to truly love her, but when he thought of conveying his thoughts, those endearing words came out without hesitation.
Natalya slightly shook her head as her hands reached out to cup his cheeks. Their heartbeats reverberated towards each other’s body, their lips connected as they started making out before it was a given that it would dwell into a passionate lovemaking session.
